Independent cleaning · Knoxville, TN
Post-construction cleaning in Knoxville.
Cleaning after construction or a renovation takes more than a regular visit, because drywall dust, paint marks and leftover residue settle on every surface. Tell Galina about the project, the condition of the space and when the work will be finished, and she discusses the cleaning needed and her availability.
What this job usually covers
- Dust from drywall, sanding and cutting wiped from surfaces, ledges, vents and floors
- Paint marks, stickers and adhesive residue removed from fixtures, windows and cabinets
- Kitchens and bathrooms cleaned once the trades are finished
- Floors cleaned last, so the dust that fell from above is gone
- A walkthrough first, because the cleaning needed depends on the stage the work has reached
Galina confirms the exact work with you before the visit. This is the usual scope. Your home and what you need set the final list.

Common questions
When should post-construction cleaning happen?
In the cleaning trade, the work is split into a rough clean while the trades are still working, a final clean after they finish, and sometimes a touch-up before move-in. Tell Galina which stage the space is at and she can tell you what she can do.
Why does dust keep coming back after the first wipe?
Fine drywall dust stays in the air and settles again, which is why a second pass after the first clean is common. Mention it when you book.
